Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
• Support the catering team by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for events or banquet setups.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, floors, and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours by promptly clearing tables and assisting with bussing when needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, efficiency, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables, cleaning, or food preparation is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
