Part-Time Processing Specialist

Our Processing Associates work efficiently in a team setting and are involved with processing and pricing donated items at the SVDP Plymouth Store. This position is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Friday. Shift times will be planned in advance to meet the needs of both the individual as well as the organization.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Sort and inspect donated items
• Determine whether items can be sold or should be disposed of or recycled
• Clean and/or test items, as needed
• Determine the value and price/prepare items for the retail floor
• Direct items to other departments, as needed

Qualifications

• Presenting a positive, friendly and caring demeanor is essential
• Knowledge of current trends, brands and/or collectibles is helpful but will train the right candidate
• Willingness to learn new things and help others when needed is essential
• Support of working in a team environment is required
• Demonstrates safe business practices affecting others
• Confidently identifies and communicates ways to improve our processes and/or services
• Promotes positive discussion with team and invites others to contribute their thoughts while initiating collaboration to continuous improvement

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
