Part-Time Professional Organizer (Senior Downsizing & Move Support)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and highly organized individual with a true passion for working with seniors. This role involves assisting clients with downsizing their belongings, organizing their homes, and providing hands-on support during packing and unpacking for moves. The ideal candidate is both efficient and empathetic, with the ability to bring calm and order to what can often feel like a chaotic and emotional process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist seniors with sorting, decluttering, and downsizing their belongings
• Pack items carefully and systematically for moves
• Unpack and organize items in clients’ new homes to create a comfortable, functional space
• Provide emotional support and patience throughout the transition process
• Maintain efficiency while being respectful of clients’ pace and needs
• Work collaboratively with team members, clients, and family members
• Adapt to varying work environments and changing needs during each project

Qualifications:

• Strong compassion and desire to work with seniors
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable situations
• Emotional intelligence and sensitivity to clients’ needs during transitions
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations
• Prior experience in organizing, moving, senior services, or related fields is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time, as-needed position (hours will vary based on client needs)
• Flexible schedule required
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
