Amada Senior Care Charleston | Mount Pleasant, SC

Amada Senior Care Charleston is hiring an organized, personable recruiter to help us find and hire dependable, compassionate caregivers. Starting pay is $20/hour. This part-time position works in person at our Mount Pleasant office, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., with additional hours as needed.

We are a locally owned, non-medical in-home care agency helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. As our recruiter, you’ll manage the caregiver hiring process from application through onboarding. Your ability to respond promptly, keep applicants engaged, and recognize strong candidates will help us build a dependable care team.

What your typical day could look like as an Amada recruiter:

• Reviewing applications and promptly contacting candidates by phone, text, and email.
• Screening applicants for experience, availability, reliability, and suitability for caregiving.
• Arranging and conducting interviews, sending reminders, and keeping candidates informed.
• Managing job postings and identifying additional ways to attract qualified caregivers.
• Keeping applicant statuses and interview notes accurate and current in Indeed and other hiring systems.
• Coordinating required hiring paperwork, employment checks, and onboarding.
• Working with our office team to understand caregiver hiring needs.
• Tracking recruiting activity and results to improve response times, interview attendance, and hiring.

This position focuses on recruiting and onboarding. Caregiver shift scheduling is handled by other office staff.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort using computers, email, online job boards, and basic office software.
• Ability to manage multiple applicants and move the hiring process forward promptly.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential applicant information.

Preferred qualifications, but not required:

• Previous hiring, recruiting, or onboarding experience.
• Experience using Indeed or an applicant tracking system.
• Experience in home care, healthcare, human resources, or a busy office environment.
