Rumps Butcher Shoppe is a local, community-focused retail shop operating in partnership with Ranch Brand Meat Company. Ranch Brand is built on quality, transparency, and helping customers understand where their food comes from.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, friendly part-time team member to support daily retail operations. This is a customer-facing role with a mix of cashier work, stocking, general upkeep, and assisting customers at the meat/deli counter.

Schedule

Saturday AND Sunday availability is required for this position.

Available shift times:

Monday-Saturday: 9:00am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-6:00pm

Sunday: 10:00am-3:00pm

Approximately 4-7 shifts per week. Additional weekday shifts will be scheduled based on availability and store needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service through in-person interactions
• Run the cash register and process transactions accurately
• Assist customers with questions and product information
• Talk with customers about Rumps and Ranch Brand Meat products and offerings
• Restock products and maintain organized displays
• Assist customers at the meat/deli counter as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and shared spaces
• Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked, and presentable
• Complete general housekeeping tasks such as dishes, trash, and light cleaning
• Support other shop needs as they arise

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers and answering questions
• Dependable and able to consistently work scheduled shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Retail, restaurant, deli, meat counter, or customer service experience is a plus
