Part-Time Retail + E-Commerce Sales Associate

Role Begins Now

Role Overview:
We’re hiring 2 part-time associates to help with day-to-day retail operations, support e-commerce tasks, and co-host live sales on the Whatnot app. This is a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment with room for creativity and growth

Store Hours: 12-7 Daily

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store with styling, sales, and checkout
• Communicate product knowledge to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Tag, steam, and organize incoming inventory
• Prepare and pack online orders
• Upload product listings and manage inventory on our website
• Co-host live shopping shows on the Whatnot app (experience is not needed, and training will be provided)
• Occasionally assist with photoshoots and content creation
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Ensure the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Interest in vintage and fashion trends
• Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fashion history
• Experience in retail, resale, or customer service preferred
• Comfortable on camera and engaging with online audiences
• Tech-savvy (Shopify, Depop, or similar platforms a plus)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Must be based in NYC and available at least 2 days a week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
