About the Position

The Leather Outlet is a family-owned business that's been part of the Lake George community for nearly 35 years. We specialize in quality leather goods, motorcycle apparel, footwear, and accessories, and take pride in providing a welcoming shopping experience for tourists and Adirondack locals alike.

This is a stable, year-round part-time opportunity offering 20 hours per week and consistent supplemental income. With evening and weekend shifts required, it's an ideal fit for someone who enjoys retail, appreciates the Adirondack community, and is looking to earn extra income throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers in friendly, natural conversation to understand their shopping needs
• Guide customers toward the right products, assisting with fit, sizing, and recommendations across store categories
• Suggest related merchandise and identify additional sales opportunities based on customer interests
• Operate the register and process transactions accurately
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays
• Keep the store clean, presentable, and welcoming
• Take initiative during slower periods
• Work collaboratively with other Leather Outlet team members to keep operations running smoothly

• Previous retail experience required
