Part-Time Sales Associate

Role Description The Part-Time Sales Associate will support daily store operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience for guests. This on-site role is based in Boulevard, CA and includes engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending products that align with the brand’s elevated style. Responsibilities include assisting with fitting rooms, processing sales transactions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, restocking inventory, and ensuring the store environment is clean and organized. The Sales Associate will also support loss prevention efforts, handle customer inquiries, and collaborate with team members to meet sales goals while upholding Velvet by Graham & Spencer’s service and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively in a retail setting.
• Sales and point-of-sale (POS) skills, including handling transactions accurately, processing returns, and meeting individual and store performance goals.
• Basic merchandising and styling skills, with an eye for presentation, product placement, and alignment with brand aesthetics.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain store cleanliness, and support inventory management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail or fashion industry experience is preferred, especially in contemporary apparel or luxury brands.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training in retail, fashion, or customer service is a plus.
