Part-time Sampler

• Conduct sample collection from clients’ sites in accordance with established sampling procedures and laboratory requirements.

• Ensure proper sample handling, preservation, labeling, storage, and transport to maintain sample integrity.

• Complete sampling forms, chain-of-custody documents, and other required records accurately.

• Encode sampling data and field information using computers, tablets, or other digital platforms.

• Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure timely submission of encoded data and reports.

• Coordinate with clients regarding sampling schedules, site access, and sample collection requirements.

• Observe proper PPE, safety, and sanitation practices during field activities.

• Safely handle and transport collected samples to the designated laboratory.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of sampling equipment and materials.

• Report any sampling issues, unusual site conditions, or deviations from procedures to the laboratory supervisor.

• Perform other sampling- and field-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College graduate or college-level applicant from a STEM-related program.
• Applicants with backgrounds in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or other STEM fields are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in computer use, data encoding, and digital documentation.
• Able to accurately encode and manage data using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, or similar applications.
• Willing to conduct field work and travel to various client sites within Cebu.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow technical procedures and instructions.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Previous experience in laboratory work or field work is an advantage but not required.
