Company Overview

Loudoun Test Prep is a highly-rated, locally focused tutoring company specializing in small-group and individual SAT/ACT prep, where mentorship matters as much as scores. We are seeking dynamic, motivated, and innovative individuals to join our team in providing academic support and mentorship to students living in Loudoun County and the surrounding area. This is an immediate-start, part-time position. We are seeking candidates with varying availability, and preference will be given to those interested in pursuing a long-term relationship with our company.

Job Description: As an SAT/ACT Math Tutor for Loudoun Test Prep, you'll be responsible for helping students build their skill set and confidence as they approach the math sections of these standardized tests. We specialize in small-group and individual tutoring over several testing seasons. You'll be helping students find the best way to gain measured improvements over eight weeks. Consistent schedules grow the best relationship with students at LTP.

Hours: Classes are taught in 8-week sessions, and individual tutoring is scheduled around the class schedule. Consistent availability throughout each 8-week session is essential for both instructors and students.

Tutoring primarily takes place on weekday evenings (approximately 5:30–9:30 PM) and weekends. During the summer, additional weekday daytime teaching opportunities are available.

Your assigned schedule will be based on the availability you commit to. For example, if you're available on Saturdays, Sundays, and two weekday evenings, you'll be assigned classes and/or individual tutoring during those times for the duration of the session.

Occasional individual tutoring sessions may be scheduled outside of these general hours.

Compensation: $35-40/hr starting wage, varies according to experience and qualifications. All candidates participate in a paid 4-8 week long training/shadowing program, compensated at 50% of the tutoring rate.

Hours per week: Between 15-25 hours per week, depending on candidate availability.
