Part-time Secondary Computer Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus.
• Teach Computer Science at the secondary level and support students in developing strong subject knowledge and practical skills.
• Use appropriate teaching strategies, activities and resources to engage students in learning.
• Develop students’ problem-solving, computational thinking and independent learning skills.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for relevant Cambridge assessments and examinations.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment and manage student behaviour effectively.
• Maintain appropriate records of students’ learning and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong potential and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science and its application in education.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge Computer Science syllabus is an advantage.
• Experience teaching or preparing students for Cambridge examinations is an advantage.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Passion for teaching and guiding students in their academic, personal and skills development, while supporting their holistic growth.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
