Part Time Security Guard Floater

We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Part Time Security Guard Floater to join our security team. This versatile role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive physical security coverage across multiple locations, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities, authorize entry, and maintain secure entry points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established protocols, including fire safety procedures, first aid administration, AED operation, and emergency response coordination.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Handle conflict de-escalation techniques professionally to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling tasks during security setup or maintenance activities as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness and physical security skills Is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, firearm handling, and conflict management are a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with incident report writing procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Experience in performing physical security tasks including patrolling premises, heavy lifting, and manual handling activities.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
