Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation when needed and support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail service, and beverage pairing enhances guest interactions
• Experience with fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive relations

Pay: $25.24 - $30.40 per hour
