Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, menus, and inquiries.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems or manual methods.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and serving.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest needs or concerns efficiently.

Qualifications REQUIRED

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately.
• Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
