Part-Time Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-Time Server to join our breakfast service team. The ideal candidate will be a people person with a good personality, capable of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently under urgency are essential qualities for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, informative service throughout their meal
• Take food and beverage orders accurately while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems, including handling cash and credit card payments
• Ensure proper handling of cash transactions with basic math skills for accurate change calculation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
• Work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency when needed
• Be punctual for scheduled shifts and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in breakfast or similar settings
• Familiarity with POS systems and processing sales transactions is advantageous
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly personality and good communication abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and attentiveness to guests’ needs

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12.0 per week
