Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements as needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, specials, or drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings smoothly
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, or menu items based on guest preferences
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food handling and service

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with POS processing is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink garnishing and presentation
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for bill calculation and change handling
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
