Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the dining area.
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and close out checks using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest engagement to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
