Part Time Server/bartender

Job Summary

We are on the lookout for friendly and energetic Part Time Servers and Bartenders to join our team at a cozy rural country hotel and restaurant. Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, following proper bartending techniques and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments with basic math skills to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in setting up tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring all service stations are well-prepared for busy periods.
• Engage with guests to answer questions about menu items, specials, or drink options to enhance their experience.
• Follow food safety regulations diligently to uphold health standards at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or bartending is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is equally valued.
• Good knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or drink orders efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling payments accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure during busy hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse guests and team members.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
