About Us
East Side Pet Ranch offers daycare, boarding, grooming, and soon-to-be training services for pets in East Austin and Central Texas. We’re committed to safe, compassionate care and friendly, dependable service for the families who trust us with their pets.
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced team member who can help supervise daily operations while working directly alongside our staff.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on management position with regularly scheduled front desk and kennel shifts. In addition to completing the duties of your assigned department, you’ll supervise staff, help coordinate the shift, and ensure our care standards and procedures are followed.
You’ll help keep daily operations organized, support staff when questions or challenges arise, and communicate important updates to the Operations or Assistant Manager. Successful candidates should be comfortable taking initiative, giving clear direction, and setting a strong example through their own work.
Training & 90-Day Probation Period
All new hires begin with a 90-day probation period. Initial training focuses heavily on kennel duties so you can learn our animal care routines, handling procedures, cleaning standards, and daily operations.
Front desk training begins once you demonstrate proficiency in kennel duties. Supervisory responsibilities are introduced as you become familiar with our procedures and demonstrate sound judgment, reliability, and readiness.
This position requires proficiency in both departments. Front desk and kennel shifts remain regular responsibilities after training is completed.
