Part-Time Shipper/Receiver – Warehouse

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Shipper/Receiver to support our warehouse and shipping operations 3 days per week. This position is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience who is comfortable working in a small-business environment and taking ownership of daily warehouse tasks.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable of handling packages, and experienced with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order preparation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and organize incoming shipments
• Prepare, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately
• Load and unload packages and freight
• Manage shipping and receiving documentation
• Verify orders against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory organization
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and resolve shipping issues or discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve shipping disputes, missing packages, damaged shipments, and delivery issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assist with purchasing, supplies, and basic warehouse administrative duties
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and carriers professionally
• Enter and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory information in computer systems
• Assist with general operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
• Hands-on experience handling packages and freight
• Experience with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation
• Strong inventory-control skills
• Ability to lift, move, and organize packages and warehouse materials
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and dependable
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to identify problems and take initiative to resolve them

Preferred

• Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, or shipping platforms
• Forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment experience
• Experience with QuickBooks or other business software
• Previous experience in a small-business warehouse/office environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule

Part-time — 3 days per week.

Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation

$20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
