• Safely operate shuttle vehicles, passenger vans, or personal vehicles along local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering route-related questions.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts; report any vehicle issues promptly for maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch or clients using GPS navigation tools to follow optimized routes and ensure punctuality.
• Follow all state transportation regulations and company policies related to passenger vehicle operation and safety procedures.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as loading or unloading luggage or equipment when necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Familiarity with bus driving, limousine services, or passenger van operation is highly desirable.
• Skilled in GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to ensure efficient trips.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
• Experience in medical transportation or school bus driving is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and vehicle maintenance basics to support smooth operations.
• Understanding of traffic regulations at the state level and adherence to transportation standards.
