Part Time Specimen Processor - 3rd Shift

Role: Specimen Processor (Part-Time, Third Shift)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process laboratory specimens following standard procedures
• Unpack, identify, label, and route specimens to designated areas
• Accurately and promptly enter patient information into data systems
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities; properly store excess samples
• Resolve and document issues with specimens; achieve department production targets

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass colorblindness screening
• Preferred: 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse roles
