Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Staff Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for practicing as a licensed pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations. Duties

• Practice as a licensed pharmacist by accurately dispensing prescription medications and verifying prescriptions for safety and appropriateness.
• Administer immunizations in accordance with state and federal guidelines, supporting community health initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, providing medication counseling, and fostering positive client relationships.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and health concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
• Support pharmacy operations by managing daily tasks, including inventory management, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to process prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in managing pharmacy teams by collaborating with staff members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist in a community or retail pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of immunization procedures and the ability to administer vaccines safely.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles and client communication skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy laws governing medication dispensing and pharmacy practice.
• Experience working with pharmacy management software systems.
• Ability to manage pharmacy operations effectively, including inventory control and team collaboration.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
