Part Time Stock Superviser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part Time Stock Supervisor to join our retail team. Duties

• Supervise daily stockroom activities, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Manage inventory control processes, including stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate purchasing and restocking efforts with suppliers and vendors to optimize inventory levels.
• Train and mentor team members on proper stocking procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, pricing strategies, and customer service standards.
• Oversee cashiering operations, cash handling, and POS system usage to ensure smooth checkout experiences.
• Implement merchandising plans that align with marketing campaigns and store presentation standards.
• Conduct regular stock audits, manage shrinkage issues, and enforce store policies related to inventory management.

Skills

• Strong management skills with experience supervising retail staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team training.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations with vendors or suppliers.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
• Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, and budgeting principles.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Experience in retail industry sales team management, operational management, and shift supervision.
• Customer service expertise with phone etiquette and friendly interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with grocery store or wireless sales environments is advantageous.
