Part-Time Student Supervisor

PART-TIME STUDENT SUPERVISOR HOURS: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Qualifications

• Ability to use discretion and good judgment
• Ability to be fair, friendly and consistent
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students and staff
• Knowledge and willingness to enforce school rules and regulations
• Ability to react constructively to unique and emergency situations

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias and locker rooms
• Check entrances and exits regularly
• Check bathrooms before school, after school and each hour during the school day
• Help direct visitors entering the school
• Escort students from their class as requested by Administrators
• Help direct students during fire alarms and lock downs

The supervisor will be expected to perform such duties assigned by the Administrator in designed areas: hall locations, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas and parking lots.

SUPERVISION The Student Supervisors are under the supervision of the Assistant Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 10-month. Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
