Part-Time Support Worker – Day & Evening Hours

Support Worker

£14.00 - £14.50/hr

This is a split-shift role. You must be available to work both daytime and evening shifts as part of your 16 hours per week. Please only apply if you are able to commit to this working pattern.

Weekdays: 9am–3pm AND 8pm–10pm
Weekends: 9am–12pm AND 8pm–10pm

Our client is a gentleman in his 50s who lives at home with his wife and two children. We are looking for a proactive, motivated Support Worker with strong values and a genuine passion for helping others live life to the fullest. You will play an important role in supporting his independence, personal development and overall wellbeing.

• Master of Laughter: Great sense of humour, loves cracking jokes, and keeping spirits high
• Entertainment Enthusiast: Music lover with an Alexa to control gadgets and playlists

About the Role:

• Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in daily activities
• Accompanying him to appointments and social outings
• Moving and handling using a hoist
• Supporting with catheter care and maintaining his hydrotherapy pool
• Assisting with personal care and meal preparation
• Administering medication

About You:

• A full UK driving licence (must be 21+ for insurance purposes)
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential
• Must be comfortable working around dogs, with no allergies
• Reliability, flexibility, and a friendly, upbeat attitude
