Part-Time Vending Route Assistant ( 3+ years required experience)

Duties

• Support the Vending Route Operator in driving along designated routes to restock vending machines.
• Assist with heavy lifting of vending products and equipment to ensure machines are fully stocked and operational.
• Help with merchandising by organizing products, checking expiration dates, and maintaining attractive displays.
• Perform routine inspections of vending machines to identify maintenance needs or issues requiring attention.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and working well with the public.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, and pricing adjustments as directed by the Route Operator.
• Follow safety protocols during driving and heavy lifting activities to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with experience in driving preferred.
• Strong math skills for handling pricing adjustments and inventory counts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and vendors.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely ( up to 40 lbs.) and efficiently as part of daily tasks.
• Organizational skills to manage route schedule, product stock levels, and documentation accurately.
• At least 3 years experience in vending machine stocking, repair and maintence.
• Prior experience in vending sales and customer service is a plus;.flexible scheduling, and a friendly environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
