Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items including wine, specialty drinks, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation flow and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring; experience with food handling and sanitation protocols beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively restaurant or nightlife setting
