Part time warehouse assistant

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, stock, and move inventory
• Assist with order picking and packing
• Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and preparing items for dispatch
• Maintain accurate inventory control through regular stock counts
• Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling
• Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing stock areas, stocking shelves efficiently, and assisting with load & unload operations as needed
• Running errands as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred; experience with warehouse supervision or managing inventory is a plus
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including certification), cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, or packaging requirements
• Strong attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy and inventory control accuracy
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and standing or walking for extended periods
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
