Part Time Warehouse Assistant

Hours: Approx. 10-12 hours per week, typically from 1-2pm to 4pm

Location: London Colney, St Albans AL2

Pay Rate: £10.85-£12.71 per hour

(dependent on statutory National Minimum Wage age band)

The Role:

We are a fast-growing food ingredients business based in London Colney, St Albans. We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and hardworking individual to support our daily warehouse, and order fulfillment operations.

As this is a short-hours, afternoon role, it is particularly suited to candidates based in or immediately near London Colney AL2, or locals with independent transport (public bus routes 602 and 84 are only practical for those living very close by).

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Physical Handling: The work is physically demanding. You will offload/load incoming palletized freight, stack goods, and handle bulk sacks and packages ranging from 1kg to 30kg.
• Fulfillment & Operations: Accurately package outgoing shipments, assist with basic stock checks, and support daily warehouse coordination.
• Standards & Precision: Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and foodstuff safety standards. You must be exceptionally precise, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a quick pace in a busy production environment.
