Part-Time Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Expandihome sdn bhd. This is a casual position based in Shah Alam, Selangor, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient storage, organisation and distribution of goods. This position is fundamental to ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and that customer orders are processed accurately and promptly.

Working time will be fixed Friday(9am-15pm) every week + flexible hours as required.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and shipments into the warehouse system
• Storing items in their designated locations, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer requirements
• Labelling and preparing packages for dispatch
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse
• Operating basic warehouse equipment such as trolleys and hand pallet trucks
• Conducting regular stock checks and assisting with inventory counts
• Supporting the warehouse team with general administrative tasks related to stock management
• Reporting any damage, discrepancies or safety concerns to the supervisor

What we're looking for

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying items
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and managing inventory
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to part-time working hours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt to warehouse procedures and health and safety protocols
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work
