The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented

Warehouse Assistant

to join our Operations team. You will assemble and pack gift boxes and kits, keep our inventory accurate, and make sure every order leaves our warehouse looking its best. This role suits someone who takes pride in neat, careful work and stays calm and steady when orders pick up during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

Gift box packing & kitting

-

Assemble curated gift boxes and kits according to packing specifications, mock-ups and client briefs.

Pack items neatly and presentably using tissue, fillers, ribbons, sleeves, greeting cards and branded inserts.

Quality-check products before and after packing: logo and print quality, defects, colours and correct quantities.

Handle large-batch packing for corporate orders, events and festive seasons such as Christmas, Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn.

Prepare personalised orders where required, including name cards, labels and recipient-specific contents.

Warehouse & inventory

-

Receive incoming stock from suppliers and check quantities and condition against purchase orders and delivery orders.

Label, sort and store stock in the correct locations, and keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.

Pick items accurately for customer orders and production runs.

-

Carry out regular stock counts and update inventory records in Google Sheets and our internal systems.

Flag low stock, damaged goods and discrepancies to the Operations team promptly.

Dispatch & logistics

-

Prepare orders for dispatch: carton packing, labelling, delivery orders and packing lists.

Coordinate pickups with couriers and drivers, and help load and unload deliveries.

-

Support bulk deliveries to multiple recipient addresses and occasional on-site event setups.

-

Keep dispatch and delivery records accurate and up to date.

General support

-

Follow workplace safety practices and keep packing and storage areas safe and clutter-free.

Support the Operations team with ad-hoc tasks, especially during peak periods.

-

Share ideas to make our packing and fulfilment workflows faster and neater.

What We're Looking For

-

No prior experience required; full on-the-job training is provided.

-

Experience in warehousing, packing, retail, e-commerce fulfilment or logistics is an advantage.

-

Strong attention to detail and an eye for neat, presentable work.

Physically fit: comfortable standing for long periods and lifting cartons of up to 15 kg.

Basic computer and smartphone skills (e.g. Google Sheets, WhatsApp, barcode or scanning apps).

-

Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

-

Able to communicate clearly in English.

-

Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends during peak seasons (typically November to February).

Good to have

-

Gift wrapping, kitting or hamper-packing experience.

Experience using a pallet jack or trolley in a warehouse setting.

Class 3 driving licence for occasional local deliveries.
