Part Time - Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role combines the essential duties of warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, managing inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using systems like RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
• Load and unload trucks while following OSHA safety regulations and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to optimize workflow and safety standards
• Perform routine inspections of heavy equipment and mechanical tools to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations
• Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against orders using AS400 or similar systems, ensuring accurate order fulfillment

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, or similar heavy machinery
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and order picking & packing
• Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use in a warehouse setting
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing
• Technical proficiency with inventory management software, RF scanners, WMS platforms, or AS400 systems
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or logistics roles is preferred but not required
• Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for mechanical knowledge or heavy equipment operation familiarity

Pay: $20.00 per hour
