What they need

PARTNER | SERIOUS INJURY

An influential appointment. A significant opportunity to drive growth.

HarKaye Core Talent | Confidential Search

You know serious injury. You know the people, organisations and relationships that bring the right support to clients when they need it most.

Now you’re looking for an opportunity to bring that expertise and network together—and help shape the future of a practice.

HarKaye Core Talent is supporting a specialist law firm with the appointment of a Serious Injury Partner with strong referral relationships and a proven ability to develop business.

This is a pivotal hire for the firm. We are looking for someone who combines credibility in serious injury litigation with the relationships, commercial judgement and ambition to help drive its next stage of growth.

The opportunity

You will play a central role in developing the serious injury practice, strengthening its presence in the market and creating meaningful opportunities through trusted relationships.

Your contribution will include:

  • Developing and strengthening referral relationships across the serious injury sector.
  • Building connections with charities, rehabilitation providers, healthcare professionals and other relevant organisations.
  • Identifying new opportunities and turning business development activity into sustainable sources of instructions.
  • Bringing specialist insight to complex, high-value serious injury work.
  • Helping shape the practice’s growth strategy and supporting the development of its people.

Who we want to speak to

An established Partner, or a senior serious injury lawyer ready for partnership, who brings both technical expertise and the ability to open doors.

You will understand how to build trust, nurture professional relationships and represent a firm with credibility and purpose. You will be comfortable initiating conversations, developing partnerships and demonstrating the impact of your business development work.

We are particularly interested in:

  • Strong experience in claimant serious injury and catastrophic injury litigation.
  • Established referral networks and meaningful relationships within the sector.
  • Evidence of generating new instructions through business development.
  • The ambition and judgement to help grow a practice.
  • A commitment to securing the best outcomes for seriously injured clients.

Why this conversation matters

This appointment is central to the firm’s growth ambitions. It offers the opportunity to bring your ideas, relationships and experience into a role where your contribution will carry real weight.

We want to understand what you have achieved, the relationships you have developed and what you would need to make your next move a successful one.

You do not need a polished CV to start the conversation.
