About our client
Our client is an independent consulting firm working with investment funds and corporate leadership teams on strategic, digital and technology transformation. Its integrated teams bring together strategy consultants and technical experts across several European offices. The firm has grown profitably since its creation and is known for its agility, its rigour and its hands-on approach to delivery. It is now looking to strengthen its leadership team with a senior technology leader.

The role
As Expert Partner, you will lead the firm’s Technology practice and set its direction. You will define its vision, structure its offer and grow its team, while remaining close to delivery on the most demanding engagements.

This is a fully client-facing role. You will advise investors and C-level executives on technology due diligences, architecture reviews and transformation programs, and act as the trusted technology advisor of key accounts.

What you will work on

• Building the practice: offers, methodologies, playbooks, recruitment and team development

• Tech Due Diligences for investment funds: assessing architectures, engineering practices, tech teams and roadmaps, then turning findings into clear investment recommendations

• Architecture and technology reviews for corporate clients: challenging technical choices, identifying risks and defining target architectures

• Transformation programs: framing technology roadmaps and supporting leadership teams through execution

• Developing existing accounts: identifying follow-on needs during engagements and building proposals with the Partners

The ideal candidate is a senior technology leader with at least 10 years of experience, including a significant part in consulting or in a comparable advisory environment. They come from a hands-on technical background and have held roles such as Architect, CTO ... before moving into leadership positions. They can still read an architecture, challenge an engineering team and go deep into technical details when a situation requires it.

Above all, they have already built a practice or/and a consulting offer: they have created it or scaled it significantly, structured its methodologies, recruited and led its team and grown its revenue. They know how to set a direction and make a team follow it.

They have worked on complex, high-stakes technology problems and have led technology assessments, ideally including Tech Due Diligences for investment funds. They are comfortable in front of investors and C-level executives and know how to turn a technical assessment into a clear business recommendation.

They are a natural account developer rather than a hunter: they build trust during delivery and spot opportunities to extend engagements. Exposure to private equity, a good understanding of data and AI trends and an international background are strong pluses.

Fluent French and English are mandatory, along with office presence in Paris.
