With a focus on delivering exceptional events that offer high-value marketing prospects for our partners, we strive to Engage, Entertain, and Inspire our audiences. Our diverse portfolio includes iconic attractions such as the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, AIA Vitality Park, AIA Vitality Hub, AIA Carnival, The World Circus, Cirque du Soleil, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory Broadway musical, reaching nearly 20 million consumers through over 500 events.

Job Overview

As Hong Kong and the wider Greater Bay Area (GBA) experience a surge in demand for world-class entertainment, to meet the incredible momentum from local and global brands eager to partner with us and achieve their marketing objectives through live entertainment experiences, we are scaling our team.

We are seeking a highly connected, strategic, and proactive Partnerships & Brand Development Executive/Manager to support our upcoming events on a contract basis, where you'll help shape the commercial future of one of Asia’s most dynamic live entertainment ecosystems. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing strategic brand partners, with a particular focus on brands with regional or global HQ’s in Hong Kong or the Greater Bay Area.

The ideal candidate has a strong focus on relationship-building, with a strong network, excellent strategic negotiation skills, and the ability to identify brands that align with the event's objectives. They should be comfortable approaching new prospects, nurturing relationships, guiding potential partners through the partnership journey, and collaborating with colleagues to share the wins as a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source potential brand partners, sponsors, hospitality clients, and vendors for a portfolio of events.
  • Proactively generate leads through networking, industry connections, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate potential partners to ensure strategic alignment with the event's target audience, brand positioning, and overall objectives.
  • Present partnership opportunities and effectively communicate the value proposition of the event.
  • Conduct partnership discussions, negotiations, and proactive follow-ups to move prospects through the sales pipeline in alignment to key timelines.
  • Develop and maintain a database of leads, prospects, and partnership opportunities in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Monitor market trends and identify emerging brands that could add value to the event.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful negotiation, onboarding, and execution of partnerships.
  • Represent the event professionally at networking events, industry gatherings, and business meetings.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English; ability to communicate effectively with Chinese and English-speaking brands and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship sales, lead generation, or related roles.
  • Strong network with brand partners and within local business communities and/or Hong Kong/Chinese brands.
  • Excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and strategic communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to assess long-term partnership potential beyond immediate sales opportunities.
  • Able to work as a team and transparently collaborate with colleagues on deal discussions and partner discussions.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Experience in events, exhibitions, sponsorships, entertainment, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands is an advantage.

Preferred Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Knows how to open doors and create meaningful business opportunities.
  • Focuses on finding the right partners.
  • Understands brand positioning and partnership fit, able to customise partnership proposals and pitches to achieve the partner’s objectives.
  • Has strong market knowledge and connections within the Hong Kong and wider Greater Bay Area brand partner network.
  • Can confidently engage senior decision-makers and brand owners.
  • Possesses a consultative, partnership-driven approach – long-term relationships over short-term transactions.
  • A team player, able to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
