Parts Advisor/Interpreter

McIntosh & Son, Katanning are seeking a Parts Advisor / Interpreter to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with an eye for detail, a friendly and professional approach, and a drive to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff.
• Identify and understand customer parts requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Provide accurate parts information, advice and support to customers.
• Prepare parts quotations, process orders and contribute to achieving sales targets.
• Identify opportunities to grow parts sales and develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Assist with parts merchandising and maintaining attractive, well-organised displays.
• Participate in stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with the timely resolution of customer queries, problems and complaints.
• Work as part of the wider dealership team to support efficient parts and service operations.
• Participate in seasonal Saturday and on-call rosters as required.

• Ability to build professional relationships with customers and identify parts sales opportunities.
• Experience with parts merchandising, selling techniques or parts ordering software is desirable but not essential for the right trainee.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams is desirable.
• Experience or familiarity with agricultural machinery, automotive, heavy equipment or a similar industry is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn, develop your skills and build a long-term career in the parts industry.
