Parts Controller

About the role

Act as a central link between the supply chain, warehouse stock, and workshop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine physical stock counts, maintain accurate inventory records in the management system, and minimize stock discrepancies, slow-moving and dead stock
• Monitor stock levels and minimum/maximum reorder levels, forecast demand, and place orders with principal suppliers or local vendors to maintain parts availability
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect parts for damage or defects, and issue the correct spare parts to technicians based on job sheets
• Manage defective part returns, warranty-related parts, claims processing with OEMs, and supplier returns

About you

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
• Prior experience in automotive after-sales, workshop operations or spare parts trading
• Familiarity with DMS / inventory management systems
• Ability to cross-reference Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC), exploded views and part numbers to identify the correct components
• Knowledge of 5S storehouse organization and safe handling of automotive components
• Good organizational, communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently
