Parts Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team in a heavy duty repair shop. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the parts operations of our repair shop, ensuring parts are ordered timely and properly, ensuring inventory is current, and building and maintaining great vendor relationships.

Duties

• Issue parts from inventory to technicians
• Process warranty cores for returns
• Maintain proper inventory of parts and supplies
• Manage core returns and new purchase returns timely
• Purchasing and receiving stock orders into the parts system
• Conduct physical inventory weekly
• Maintain a working relationship with vendors
• Timely and accurately estimate jobs
• Order, receive, and invoice parts for technicians
• Enter part details into shop software

Qualifications/Essential Functions

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to multitask
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, warehouse, or factory setting is preferred.
• Able to lift and carry materials over 50Lb
• Peform various physical duties as assigned
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed
• Previous heavy duty diesel parts ordering experience is a plus
• FullBay experience is a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
