Duties

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver parts across designated routes.
• Load and unload parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders and obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
• Communicate effectively using mobile devices to confirm deliveries, report issues, or update route information.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving material handling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and use manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace.
• Familiarity with route driving, adherence to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with warehouse operations or moving goods within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
