PARTS DRIVER - Part Time

Position Summary
The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering parts, vehicles, and other essential
items promptly and professionally. This position supports the Sales, Service, and Parts departments with smooth and
reliable delivery services to customers and partner locations.

Core Responsibilities

• Customer Deliveries: Deliver vehicles, parts, or other materials directly to customers or between Thompsons locations, ensuring timely and professional service.
• Inspection & Documentation: Conduct vehicle or parts inspections before and after deliveries to ensure accuracy and condition. Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines and maximize productivity.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
• Communication: Coordinate delivery schedules with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Vehicle Care: Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good working condition by reporting any issues promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during deliveries.

Physical Requirements

• Environment: Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Sitting/Driving: Prolonged sitting while driving delivery vehicles.
• Standing/Walking: Occasional standing and walking during loading/unloading.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing in and out of vehicles.
• Repetitive Motion: Regular use of hands for steering, paperwork, and loading/unloading.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous driving or delivery experience is a plus but not required.
