Parts Interpreter – Full Time Position

Down 2 Earth Equipment is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team as a Parts Interpreter.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded and passionate about the automotive or heavy diesel industry. Previous parts interpreting experience is highly regarded; however, we are also open to candidates with strong mechanical knowledge who are eager to learn and build a long-term career with our business.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work within our parts department assisting customers, sourcing and interpreting parts, managing enquiries, and supporting workshop operations in a fast-paced environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Mechanical knowledge or a strong interest in automotive/heavy diesel equipment
• Minimum 2 years' experience within the automotive or heavy diesel industry
• Any mechanical work experience within the automotive or heavy diesel industry is acceptable.
• Previous parts interpreting experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• A genuine passion for the heavy diesel industry
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
• No Sponsorship opportunities for this role
• Experience with businesses or brands such as Hastings Deering, Komatsu, Toyota, QLD Cruisers, or similar industries will be highly regarded
• Familiarity with automotive or heavy diesel software systems/catalogues is advantageous, although training will be provided
• Diesel Fitting Trade is desirable but not essential!
