About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter / Customer Service Specialist to join our busy New Plymouth branch.

This is a customer-focused role with a strong sales component. You’ll be responsible for helping customers find the right parts, building lasting relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the branch’s customer base.

You’ll:

• Source and supply automotive parts to trade customers
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly and efficient customer service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Follow up sales opportunities and maximise customer satisfaction
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to achieve branch targets
• Contribute to a positive, productive and team-focused branch environment

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in automotive parts or a related automotive role
• Strong product knowledge and parts interpretation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A confident and proactive approach to sales and business development
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
• A positive, solution-focused attitude
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A full, clean New Zealand driver licence
