Parts Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Review service work orders to identify and quote maintenance or repair parts for industrial air compressors and related system equipment
• Work directly with customers by phone, email and/or in person
• Assist Zorn service to identify and order parts needed to complete work orders
• Assist Zorn sales to identify and quote parts for customers
• Communicate with vendors for pricing and delivery information
• Order parts and update inventory control system
• Receive and ship parts
• Maintain accurate parts inventory in the warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with customers
• Resourceful and ability to solve problems
• Must have some mechanical/technical knowledge
• Good communication skills (phone/verbal and written)
• Ability to respond to requirements in a positive, supportive and timely manner
• Proficient computer skills (outlook, ERP systems, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack (training provided)
