Party Host/Receptionist/Cleaning

Deerness Gymnastics is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Party Host to help ensure our Sunday children's parties run smoothly and that all guests receive a warm welcome and enjoyable experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcoming party guests and providing a friendly, helpful point of contact throughout their visit.
• Preparing and setting up the gymnastics hall and party areas ready for each booking.
• Ensuring parties run smoothly and according to the scheduled times.
• Tidying and cleaning the gymnastics hall and party areas after guests leave and preparing the facilities for the next party.
• Completing general cleaning duties throughout the centre, including reception, corridors, toilets, party rooms and other communal areas.
• Emptying bins and recycling and ensuring all areas are left clean and presentable.
• Restocking supplies where required.
• Carrying out end-of-day cleaning and closing duties.
• Following Deerness Gymnastics' health and safety, safeguarding and centre procedures at all times.
• Providing excellent customer service to children, parents and other visitors.

About You

We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and confident dealing with the public. You will need to be reliable, well organised and comfortable working independently as well as alongside other members of the Deerness team.

The role is active and involves setting up equipment, cleaning and being on your feet for much of the shift. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, leisure, children's activities or a similar role would be beneficial, although training will be provided.

Pay: £10.85-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.25 per week
