Passionate RECE

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RECE to join our educational team. This role involves supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for early childhood education. Experience working with children with disabilities, are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's learning experiences while developing professional skills in a collaborative setting.

FULL TIME; JANUARY 2027 - Supply and part time available until January

Duties

• Working as a team with other educators in planning and implementing engaging educational activities tailored to early childhood development
• Support children with their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and classroom transitions
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces

Qualifications

• Vulnerable Sector Screening
• First Aid + CPR Level C
• Registered ECE (preferred/asset)
• Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is an asset
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques is an asset
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
• Excellent time management and leadership abilities to support a dynamic classroom environment
• Passion for teaching and fostering positive developmental outcomes for children

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
