We are hiring "Passive Project Manager" for our organization specialized into end-to-end Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, OT Security, and Managed Services based at BKC, Mumbai !!!

Job Title: Passive Project Manager

Role Purpose: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing passive infrastructure projects (racks, cabling, fiber, patch panels). Ensures timely delivery, compliance with standards, and smooth communication between customers, engineers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Documentation
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and scope of work.
• Prepare customer-facing documentation (rack layouts, cabling diagrams, passive infra reports).
• Ensure alignment with milestones and deliverables.
• Resource & Team Coordination
• Assign tasks to engineers, helpers, and coordinators.
• Maintain clear communication with presales, project leads, and site engineers.
• Track manpower utilization and site readiness.
• Execution & Quality Control
• Oversee installation of racks, fiber, and cabling as per standards.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with design and safety norms.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Detailed Site Survey
• Perform rack and space audits (availability, dimensions, load capacity).
• Validate structured cabling and fiber (routes, splicing, termination, OTDR testing).
• Conduct power and environmental checks (redundancy, cooling, airflow).
• Prepare rack elevation diagrams, cabling maps, and inventory of passive components.
• Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA and ISO standards.
• Document findings, risks, and corrective action plans.
• Customer & Stakeholder Communication
• Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure approvals and sign-offs are obtained at each milestone.
• Act as the single point of contact for project escalations.
• Timeline & Deliverable Management
• Monitor progress against agreed milestones.
• Ensure timely completion of installation, testing, and handover.
• Escalate risks proactively to avoid slippages.
• Reporting & Analysis
• Maintain trackers for project activities, SLA adherence, and issue logs.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports highlighting progress, risks, and resolutions.
• Provide trend analysis for recurring issues.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO).
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance checks.
• Enforce safety and quality guidelines across sites.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of passive infrastructure (racks, cabling, fiber).
• Experience in project planning and execution.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (TIA/EIA, ISO).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously.

Experience: 7+ years

Working Days: 5 days a week

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
