Pazza Market & Cucina – La Jolla / UTC (San Diego)

Pazza Market & Cucina is an authentic Italian restaurant located in the UTC area, currently hiring 1 experienced line cook to join our kitchen team:

• Pasta / Line Cook (sauté + fresh pasta experience required)

We are a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen focused on quality and consistency. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail.

Work efficiently during high-volume serviceMaintain a clean and organized station

Follow recipes and kitchen standardsCommunicate effectively with the team

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of line cook experience

Experience in Italian cuisine strongly preferred

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Weekend availability required

Compensation & Schedule:

$25 to $26/hour + tips (based on experience)

Full-time (5 days/week) Tuesday to Saturday

dinner shifts only

Busy weekend service (Friday and Saturday required)

Additional Details:

Paid trial shift required prior to hiring
