Pasta Lab Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: Monitors, analyzes and inspects the pasta products according to the standard set by the QAD and specifications as required by respective customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Checks/assesses raw materials for pasta production, does regular sampling, monitors moisture, appearance and cooking test of pasta products;
2. Checks pasta products for deliveries prior to loading;
3. Assesses defective rejected and returned pasta products; and
4. Physically inspect the incoming hard wheat semolina and other raw materials for pasta production.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food Technology
• PRC Food Technologist license is preferred, but not required
• At least six (6) months work experience in a laboratory, preferably in a food industry
• Knowledgeable ion Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Laboratory Practice
• Computer literate
• Amenable to work from Mondays to Saturdays at Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
