Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries such as croissants, cookies, mousse cake and specialty cakes with precision and care.
• Prepare beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Prepare/decorate desserts such as Waffles, pancakes, crepes and scooping ice cream.
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems like Toast POS.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to meet food safety standards
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality and freshness of offerings.
• Restock supplies regularly and organize merchandise displays to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; pastry art and barista experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour
